  1. I didn’t take the EWG pledge. Something told me it didn’t “fit”. Going vegan doesn’t “fit” my family either.
My question concerning going vegan is : What the heck am I supposed to eat, instead of meat?
We drink whole milk, use real butter, eat fruit and veggies regularly and have eaten this way all our lives. We’re healthy and don’t run to the doctor for every sniffle, ache, pain or upset stomach. I’ve avoided doctors even when physically injured, as long as I feel I didn’t break any bones, I ‘doctor’ myself and heal just fine.
I’m glad to have found out about Kaayla Daniel on Dr. Mercola’s website.

  2. Dear RedHawk, I’m glad you are choosing vegetarianism over veganism. Do eat a lot of eggs and choose raw milk and butter if at all possible. Those choices will help you greatly. For info about safety and availability of raw milk, visit http://www.realmilk.com. Re your choice of avoiding meat, I would read Lierre Keith’s book The Vegetarian Myth. It’s beautifully written, compassionately argued. Good luck to you and thanks for sharing. Kaayla
