WHOLE SERVICES

  • WHOLE NUTRITIONIST COUNSELING : When we work together, we work as a team. I will serve you as your coach and guide. During our initial appointment, we will spend one hour reviewing your health goals and concerns, symptoms, diet, lifestyle, and personal and family medical histories. In our follow-up appointment, we will spend another hour. I will share the results of your lab work and explain my recommendations to you.
  • WHOLE NUTRITIONIST PROGRAMS : The programs I design are unique and take into account your bioindividuality, wants, needs, history and lifestyle. Healing occurs on all levels of the body, mind and spirit, so all programs will consider food, exercise, supplements, detoxification, and relaxation or stress reduction techniques. The two laboratory tests I routinely use include a 24 hour urine test to determine your ability to digest protein, fats and carbohydrates, likelihood of candida or parasites, as well as clues to bone, adrenal, thyroid and kidney health.    The second test is a hair mineral analysis to find out your levels — and the even more important ratios — of zinc/copper, calcium, magnesium etc, and also toxic metals such as aluminum, mercury, cadmium, lead.     Some clients will want or need other tests, and I offer them through Metametrix and other  laboratories.
  • WHOLE NUTRITIONIST COSTS : The fee for the initial appointment, the follow up appointment and the two lab tests  is $500.  Payment can be made by Visa, MC, PayPal or a personal check received before the first appointment. I will be happy to answer simple, follow-up questions about your program by phone or e-mail at no additional charge. Indeed I welcome the opportunity to clarify points and make sure you are doing the program properly.  Follow up questions must directly pertain to our appointments and do not include the evaluation of books, journal articles, information found on internet websites and blogs, cooking techniques, etc .  Generally, I recommend follow up visits with a repeat hair mineral analysis test at three to four months, though some clients need or prefer to be monitored more frequently.  The cost of a one-hour follow up visit with a repeat hair mineral analysis  test is $250.

SPEECHES AND WORKSHOPS

Dr. Daniel  –  The Naughty Nutritionist™ — is a dynamic speaker who entertains and engages her audiences with leading-edge information on health and longevity. She has spoken at numerous events, including Weston A. Price Foundation annual conferences and the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP).   She is available for speaking engagements and 2 day workshops on the following topics – or a topic of your choice…

  • NAUGHTY NUTRITION™: In this popular talk, The Naughty Nutritionist™ presents 69 ways to feed your libido and fuel your lust for life.
  • EMPOWERING FERTILITY: One in seven American couples now suffers from infertility. Within the next decade, that figure is predicted to move up to one in three. Menstrual distress, mood disorders and depressed libidos add to the heartbreak. Although Father Technology has waged war on infertility using drugs, hormones and surgery, Mother Nature offers instead a cornucopia of sacred foods, herbs and aphrodisiacs. In this lecture, Dr. Kaayla Daniel will present the hard science behind caviar, oysters, organ meats, cream and other high-fat, high-cholesterol, hormone-producing foods. She’ll show why those who would be “fruitful and multiply” will not only avoid processed, packaged and fast foods but spurn politically correct, lowfat, high-soy, plant-based diets. Learn how health nuts Sylvester Graham and John Harvey Kellogg used cereal and crackers to kill the libido, why Zen monks use soy to help maintain their vows of celibacy, why bosses have more testosterone than workers, which cultures hold “testicle festivals,” how environmental estrogens cause endocrine disruption, and why natural sex hormones are the keys not only to healthy libido but also to deep feelings of love and commitment.herbs, exercise and other natural therapies have been proven in clinical trials to have a “leg to stand on”.
  • SAFE AND NATURAL DETOXIFICATION: Millions of Americans suffer adverse health effects from low-level, chronic exposure to aluminum, mercury, cadmium, lead and other toxic metals. Toxic levels of the needed minerals copper and manganese are also increasingly common problems. Dose, duration, manner of exposure, biochemical individuality, genetic propensity, diet quality and stress levels combine to determine the degree of ill effects. Sadly, no one living on Planet Earth today is immune to toxic metal exposure This lecture will cover prevention and healing through diet and lifestyle choices, safe and gentle do-it yourself detoxification procedures, and the advisability of laboratory assessment and customized detoxification protocols for men, women and children suffering from major or minor health challenges.
  • PLANTS BITE BACK: THE SURPRISING AL-NATURAL TOXINS IN PLANT FOODS:  Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains and beans are widely appreciated for their rich vitamin and mineral content. But plant foods also contain antinutrients and toxins that can potentially cause myriad health problems. In this lecture, Dr. Kaayla Daniel will reveal surprising facts about the infamous oligosaccharides that turn beans into “musical fruits,” phytoestrogens that can cause hormonal havoc, phytates that block mineral absorption, protease inhibitors that interfere with protein digestion, and lesser known troublemakers such as oxalates, saponins, lectins and salicylates. She will explain how soaking, fermenting, cooking and other traditional processes will eliminate or reduce some – but not all – of these antinutritional and/or toxic components, why modern processing methods fail to do so adequately or reliably, and why some foods should simply not be eaten raw. Finally, Dr. Daniel will expose the tactics of the nutraceutical industry, which has turned devils into angels in order to successfully market antinutrients, toxins and hormone mimickers as “safe and natural” cholesterol reducers, cancer curers, hormone replacers and other alleged miracle workers.
  • SECRETS OF THE SUPERYOUNG : Want to slow, stop or reverse the aging process? Is it even possible? This workshop reveals the secrets of the super young – those rare people who look 20 to 30 years younger than their chronological age, glow with good health and brim with enthusiasm and energy. Learn about optimum nutrition, exercise and attitude from the world of science and, most important, from the super young themselves – people like the legendary healer Hazel R. Parcells, who died in 1996 at the age of 106 years young.
  • THE WHOLE SOY STORY : Is soy the miracle food for the new millennium or is it a hard-to-digest protein that has been linked to malnutrition, digestive disorders, immune system breakdown, thyroid dysfunction and even heart disease and cancer? This class will tell the whole soy story. Soy comes in good forms and bad. Good soy can cure but bad soy is a culprit. Learn how much soy Asians really eat, the differences between old-fashioned and modern soy products, when in the life cycle soy might be helpful, and why infants using soy formula are especially at risk.
